Today on 0260 RaceLabs, we go inside my rare vintage car collection, and every car here carries a story.
From the Porsche 930 Turbo and Porsche 964 to the 996 Turbo, Mercedes 190E, and a modern vintage-inspired G-Wagon, this collection is not about trophies. It is about eras, engineering, and the memories tied to chasing the cars I always dreamed of owning.
We start with a 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo, the Widowmaker. From its notorious turbo lag and raw character to its period-correct details, this is a cornerstone of the collection and a personal homage to Porsche racing heritage.
Next is a 1991 964 Carrera 2 automatic, built as a true Miami cruiser and personal project. It became a one-of-one expression, from full rebuild choices to interior and wheel decisions that still spark debate.
Then comes the 964 Turbo, a childhood dream shaped by film history and everyday drivability, bridging the old-school 3.3-liter spirit with a platform refined for real-world use.
The 996 Turbo follows, one of the most controversial 911 generations, yet impossible to ignore for what it represents in Porsche’s evolution. A low-mileage collector example, but one that raises the question every collector faces: keep pristine or drive it.
Outside Stuttgart’s Porsche lineage, the 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 enters as a defining performance icon. More than specs, it marks the era when Mercedes proved it could compete, not just in luxury, but in motorsport identity.
Closing the lineup is the G-Wagon Stronger Than the 1980s edition, a limited tribute to the W460 roots. Vintage cues, modern execution, and a daily driver that completes the collection’s Stuttgart thread.
This is only the beginning. 0260 RaceLabs is about driving, experiencing, and documenting the cars that shaped us, and sharing that journey with the community.
